Punctuality and dress code
Why is it important that I get on time for a speed dating event?

All the event is timed and a big part of the success of the event is based on the timing and keeping
the schedule. Also this is a courtesy and respect for the other members of our club who do get on
time.

What happens if I don't make it on time?

You should get on time. There is a 20 minute tolerance once the register is over, once this time is
over, Speed Dates Club has the right of letting you in or not. In case you are authorized to go in, then
you should wait for the break to be able to participate, this means that you will loose half of your
speed dates.

I realize that at the last minute I wont make it to the event, how do I let you know?

When you get the confirmation e-mail with the information of the event (time, address, phone
number, etcetera) you will get a cellphone number from someone of our staff. You should call this
number and let us know about it so we wont wait for you.

What other disadvantages has not getting to the event on time?

In case there are less than 5 speed dates, you could get to another event for free, but if you didn't get
to the event on time you wont be able to claim this right since you loose your benefits for not getting
on time.

How do I dress up for a speed dating event?

As you want and feel comfortable with. However, consider that the first impression is very important
and wont be forget. At the events that are during the business week it is common that the members
are dressed up since they come straight from their office, but on the weekend events it is more
casual. Our advise is that you should dress up as if you were going to a first date with someone.
